A Serious Topic...

 As a black woman, I am disappointed in how women have given up on black men and in how black women have dishonored black men. Many black men are hurt, angry, and/or confused in today’s society. As women, we must continue to provide love and guidance. I hear too many black women say that they hate black men and that bothers me to the max. Since the beginning, black men used to always play a huge role in protecting and taking care of our black women and children but times are changing. A lot of people have to understand that there are black men dying every day in America and as women it is our turn to love, protect, teach, and preserve our black men. Not only for ourselves but for our children, our children’s children, and our FUTURE!

Triggers & How To Deal With Them

Triggers. What a touchy conversation that needs to take place! Identifying your triggers and understanding the way you react to them is a big step you must take in the healing process, especially in relationships (family, friends, partner, etc). Lets get into triggers and how to deal with them: 1. First things first, you must have a good understanding of what a trigger is. A trigger is something or a topic that causes us to feel uncomfortable and/or react (consciously or unconsciously) based off of previous events/situations 2. Second, after understanding what a trigger is you will then take time to observe yourself, your emotions, what you instinctively react to, and your actions. This may take time but take a few days (even a month) to notice what triggers you or makes you feel uncomfortable. 3.
